You'll support a smart new approach to ending breast cancer as you stroll through the spacious Bluestem Center for the Arts and nibble healthy tastings offered along the route.The course will finish with an all-out festival starring local favorite Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome.

Every dollar raised through this fun-filled event will be invested in cutting-edge research, supported by the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation and conducted at the Roger Maris Cancer Center, to help advance breast cancer prevention and treatment.

What is the cost to participate in Savor & Stroll?

You can register as an individual for $25, or as a family (two adults with their children) for $50. The fee grants you entry into the event; a signature Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation apron; exclusive food samples prepared by local restaurants and chefs; and access to the family-friendly festival area, which will feature a performance by local favorite, Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome.

Children age five and under will be admitted for free.

I want to help find cures, faster! How do I start fundraising?

After registering for the event, you will be prompted to set up a fundraising page. 100% of every dollar you raise will fuel innovative breast cancer research, supported by the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation, at the Roger Maris Cancer Center.

Can I bring a stroller?

Of course! Please be aware, however, that much of the course is unpaved.

Can I bring my pet?

No. With the exception of guide animals, animals are prohibited at the venue.

What is the registration deadline?

The registration deadline is Friday, May 23, 2014. Limited day-of registrations will be available at the cost of $30 per person.

What is the fundraising deadline?

The deadline for fundraising is 12:00 am on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, to earn fundraising incentives and to work towards the top fundraising prize package.

When can I pick up my registration packet?

You can pick up your packet at the Bluestem Center for the Arts on Friday, May 30, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, or on event day, Saturday, May 31, from 7:00 to 9:30 am.

Can I participate as part of a team?

We do not offer a team rate. Entry fees (with the exception of the family fee) are for individuals. However, if you are walking in honor or memory of someone, we encourage team-like involvement.

What if I have food allergies?

You will need to use your discretion in sampling the food. All food will be prepared before the event by participating local restaurants.

How long will it take to complete the stroll?

The route is about two to three miles long, with food stations along the way. We anticipate that it will take about an hour to an hour and a half to complete.

Is the course handicap accessible?

All of the permanent grounds structures are handicap accessible. While there are many paved walking paths, please be aware that much of the Savor & Stroll course will be unpaved.
