Clinical Trials and Breast Health

It’s important you have access to as many clinical trial options as possible from every facet of breast health. At Edith Sanford Breast Center, we lead and participate in dozens of clinical trials, allowing our team of breast cancer experts to offer patients more innovative treatment options. We are proud to offer national and international clinical trials from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and survivorship.

Why are clinical trials so important?
Clinical trials are one way to receive state-of-the-art treatment. But they are also the only way for doctors to learn better methods to treat our patients. It’s important to know that a patient will always get the correct protocol of treatment for their specific disease. Participation in a clinical trial will add to that protocol and be studied further by researchers.
