Research and cures

Time is of the essence. Every 13 minutes a woman dies of breast cancer in this country. We are at a pivotal moment in breast cancer research, as evolving technology enables us to quickly sequence each patient’s tumor and healthy tissue genomes, all 3.2 billion base pairs. The Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation is committed to finding cures faster. Through the support of our breakthrough forward genomic research, we will be able to design personalized cures that are right for each woman’s breast cancer.
