Breast Specific Gamma Imaging

Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI) uses blood flow and metabolism to locate and diagnose areas of concern for high-risk breast cancer patients. BSGI is very useful in women with dense breast tissue, suspicious areas identified on a mammogram, lumps that can be felt but not seen with mammography or ultrasound, breasts with implants, augmentation or scarring from previous surgeries.
