Diagnostics Services

Diagnostic Mammogram

Screening mammograms are routinely used to detect breast cancer in women who have no apparent symptoms.

Diagnostic mammograms are used after suspicious results on a screening mammogram or after signs of breast cancer alert the physician to check breast tissue.

Breast MRI

A breast MRI uses a magnetic field, radio frequency pulses and a computer to create detailed images of breast tissue. It can provide more information than mammograms or ultrasounds alone.

Breast Ultrasound

Ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of your breast tissue. It is often used after a lump is found or if tissue appears abnormal on a mammogram.

Breast Biopsy

A breast biopsy is a sample of breast tissue cells taken either surgically or through a hollow needle. The cells are examined to determine if they are cancerous.

Breast Specific Gamma Imaging

Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI) uses blood flow and metabolism to locate and diagnose areas of concern for high-risk breast cancer patients.
