Thank you, Chef Chris and CH Patisserie, for your strong support of our mission to end breast cancer.
Meet Chef Chris
What drives your support for the fight against breast cancer?
The most incredible moments of my life were marrying my wife and having a daughter. I’m proud to be part of something today that will help protect them tomorrow from a terrible disease.
What drew you to Edith Sanford?
I jumped at the opportunity to partner with Edith Sanford. You need world-class people to conduct world-class research, and that's what Edith Sanford is doing — bringing together the right people to eradicate this disease.
Since partnering with the Foundation, I've traveled and volunteered at events and I've met the researchers and team behind the initiative. Dave Pearce, for example (the vice president of Sanford Research)... he's not only passionate, he gets angry about this disease; it's personal. I like knowing people like that are driving Edith, and I know they wouldn't be there if they didn't see the potential.
How do you support the cause in your daily business?
I know firsthand that when you're going through something difficult, like a cancer diagnosis, you just want a moment of normalcy. We put our heart and soul into what we make, and I like to believe that CH is a place where people of all walks of life — no matter what challenges they're facing in their day-to-day lives — can come to put things aside and enjoy a moment of luxury. They can feel like everything is normal for a second.
