Love Notes: live life to the fullest

Enjoy this upbeat Love Note from the Journey from Rosie in Carlton, Ore.!
“The moment I found the lump was shocking! I had my moments of, “Not me,” and “It’s nothing, especially NOT cancer.” Moving forward after finding out it WAS cancer, I began my journey. I held my head high, my smile going and kept my heart and mind wide open, ALL filled with positivity and educating words for all to know that CANCER wasn’t going to beat me, but I, it!
I was, and am, the same person before and after cancer and it lives in all of us, cancerous cells AND the will to fight and beat it! I laughed at it, allowed myself to be taken care of, and opened myself to the realization of who truly was in my corner, at my side and who truly cared for me.
It was one of the most beautiful times of my life, believe it or not. Yes it was also the worst time due to the diagnosis, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from living my life, laughing and loving hard!
I am more thankful for the little things and I welcome any/all trials and tribulations that life may bring my way, ’cause I’ve learned I can learn from them, become a better and stronger person from them and live life to the fullest! I love me, my family and my life!”
