Humanitas Wines

In 2002, after more than 25 years in the wine business, Judd Wallenbrock brainstormed the idea of enriching people’s lives through wine. Inspired by humanitarianism, he created Humanitas to craft a memorable wine experience that honors winegrowing excellence and passionately dedicates profits to charity. Humanitas recently merged with Yountville, California’s Jessup Cellars and Saint Helena, California’s Handwritten Wines. Judd is also now the general manager of Jessup Cellars.

The name ‘Humanitas’ is the Latin word for philanthropy, human nature, and character. The name embraces all that is the company — making great wines of character and donating the profits to philanthropic causes.

The Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation thanks Humanitas for their generous gifts to Edith Sanford along with their dedication and support to the Foundation and other charities. For more information on Humanitas, visit humanitaswines.com.
